Deleting your Half Story account

You can delete your Half Story account, and the data tied to it, from inside the app at any time. The deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to delete it

1. Open Half Story and sign in with the account you want to delete.
2. Go to your Profile, then to Settings.
3. Choose “Delete account” and confirm.

What gets deleted

Your email address, your name and avatar, the cases you played and solved, your standing in the leaderboard, your invitations and your notification preferences.

What is kept, and for how long

Records of purchases are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They are no longer linked to a usable account.

If you cannot sign in

Write to hello@half-story.com from the address of the account. We will delete it within 30 days.

Can't use the app? Ask from here

Type the address of your account. If an account uses it, we send you an email with a link: open it to confirm, and we delete the account within 30 days.
