A crime a week.
A whole city
to question.
You walk through Calder and decide where to go: you meet people in the places where they are, and every visit is a move. When you think you've got it, you sign the report.

Try how it plays
Five minutes, right here in the browser: a miniature case with the real rules.
Try it →Nobody hands you the solution.
Only what you can get people to tell you.
- 01
Read the opening
The opening in the second person: the call, the run through the rain, the scene. It isn't a move and you can reread it anytime.
- 02
Move through the city
Every case has its own places, spread across the six districts, and in each place the people you find there. Go wherever you like, in any order: every first visit is a move.
- 03
Take wrong turns
Every place is there for a reason, but not all of them lead to the solution: ruling things out is still half the job. And the local paper takes no moves to read, as much as you like.
- 04
Sign the report
The report's questions, open answers. We only tell you right or wrong: you read the solution only if you get them all.

The Monday Fall
Lucan Veyra is found dead below an upper service stair at Orison Picture House on Monday morning. His fall during a weekly building check is first treated as an accident.
Monday morning is cool and dry over Central Exchange. You sit in your office upstairs from the Exchange Travel Desk, across from the Central Transit Terminal. A delayed bus has filled the pavement with people reading route notices. You are sorting fare receipts from the past week and pressing each one flat beneath a heavy city guide.

What is a case?
An investigation set in Calder: an opening, a city to walk, the report's questions to answer. A new one comes out every week, on Monday morning.
How long does it last?
The case stays open in the leaderboard all week, until the Monday morning when the next one comes out. Then it moves to the archive, where you can play it with no time limit, outside the leaderboard.
What is a move?
A move is the first visit to a place, or going back to a place where a new piece of evidence unlocks more text. Moves never run out: they count on the leaderboard, which ranks first by right answers, then by fewer mistakes, then by fewer moves. Rereading what you've already found is not a move.
What if I don't solve it in time?
You can keep playing it from the archive, but you only read the solution once you answer every question correctly. Nobody tells you.
What is the archive?
The cases of past weeks. You play them with no time limit, outside the leaderboard, with a registered account.
Which languages is it in?
Italian, English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese. Every case comes out in all six.
Case 091 closes on Monday
You make the leaderboard by getting at least one question right within the week. The solution, though, you only read if you get them all.
